Radon Mitigation Fan

INLINE FANMAX FAN

Upgrading your system from the standard fan to the FANMAX fan increases the power of your fan and the overall CFM (cubic feet per minute) of your radon system. The FANMAX fan is often used in homes with substantial levels of radon, crawlspaces with exposed dirt, or denser aggregates like clay.

Radon Mitigation Interior Installation

INTERIOR AND GARAGE ATTIC INSTALLATIONS

An interior installation will ensure the radon mitigation system is 99.9% hidden. In most cases, a garage attic routed system begins in the basement, comes through the garage and into the garage attic (where the mitigation fan is mounted), and eventually through the roof of the garage. An interior system also can muffle the noise of the fan, giving you not only peace of mind, but peace and quiet. Ideal for quiet neighborhoods and homeowners concerned with preserving home aesthetics.

SECOND COLLECTION POINT

Adding a second collection point to your radon mitigation system will increase the negative pressure field under the home and create a larger drawing area, which is particularly useful if the radon levels are very high or if a home sits on a clay bedding.

Radon Mitigation System Color

PAINT & AESTHETIC PACKAGES

Your standard radon mitigation installation includes white PVC pipe, but a color-match package is available. An aesthetics package can help hide the mitigation system when it is installed on the home's exterior. All exterior components of the system are painted to closely match the outside of the home, helping to conceal what could be an eyesore on the side of your home. Ask about matching 3”x4” downspout in certain locations, helping the system blend in with your current drainage and gutter system.

Water Radon Mitigation System

RADON WATER SYSTEMS

The EPA estimates radon in drinking water causes about 168 cancer deaths per year, according to the National Academy of Science Findings. Drinking water should be tested for radon if your water comes from an underground source, such as a well that pumps from an aquifer. The aeration method uses diffused bubble technology, which has been independently tested and proven to reduce radon levels by 95%. This system utilizes aeration chambers that introduce air into the contaminated water, which causes the radon to be released. The separated radon is vented and safely released outdoors, while the clean water is pumped back into the home. This method does not cause waste buildup, like granular activated Carbon, which will costs you more money over time in the maintenance and filter replacements. The EPA considers water aeration systems to be the best technology available to reduce radon in water.
